Remembering in times of forgetting

Our mission is to preserve the memory of the crimes of National Socialism, and especially the Holocaust, in times of forgetting, thereby helping to ensure that the right lessons are drawn for today’s society and future generations. Education is the key to developing an understanding of connections and gaining true insights that guide our actions. Knowledge transfer and education are the guarantors against antisemitism, racism, and xenophobia. Education begins in schools but does not end there. It must remain constant—for example, in companies, associations, sports, and faith communities.

Through the central use of the film "Die Ermittlung" by Peter Weiss (directed by RP Kahl), which addresses the Auschwitz trials of 1963-65 in Frankfurt am Main, not only is general knowledge conveyed, but the film also raises political and social issues. Alongside the exploration of Auschwitz, the film inspires intense discussions, workshops, and teaching methods, presenting and continuously expanding understanding and awareness of these topics in a modern and broader societal context.

In addition, we offer content on topics such as ethical leadership, the rule of law and democracy, corporate responsibility, and remembrance work as a societal duty.
