The film "Die Ermittlung" is not a one-time cultural event, but was made for timeless use in the fields of remembrance and education. This includes film screenings in cinemas, auditoriums, or the use of individual episodes, as both the play and the film are divided into eleven cantos.
This structure allows for interruptions that use the educational and historical context through discussions, reflection, and relevance to the current state of the world. The cantos, which range from 10 to 30 minutes and address specific "sections" of the camp and the extermination of people, also cover specialized topics such as command & obedience or corporate responsibility.
